Chinese New Year Cultural Fair 2017

Mark the Year of the Rooster in 2017 with style and fun! Come along to a celebration event put on by the Chinese Welfare Trust for an auspicious beginning of the lunar Chinese new year. It promises to be a cultural feast of the senses. Experience the elegance of a tea ceremony, immerse in Chinese music played on a plucked string instrument with more than 2,500-year history, and witness the art of Chinese calligraphy unfolding in front of your eyes. We will also have a range of craft and fun stalls, so there is something for everyone. What’s more, it’s all for a good cause: all proceeds will go to support the charitable work of the Trust to help vulnerable Chinese elderly in the UK.
